Confederate Memorial Day Weekend
Friday - 8:30 pm Luminary & Reading the Rolls at Indian Mound Cemetery
Saturday
Noon - Picnic Lunch at Fort Mill Ridge Trenches with the Sons of the Confederacy
2pm - McNeil’s Rangers & Sons of Confederate Veterans will march from the Court House to Indian Mound Cemetery for Draping of the Garland & Memorial Ceremony
2:30 - Davis History House will open for tours by the Thirteenth Virginia Volunteer Infantry, Sons of Confederate Veterans and Hamp. Co. Historical Society
Ceremonies will also occur at cemeteries around the county on Saturday ending with another Luminary at Capon Chapel Church at 8pm.

We have just received a new shipment of Mountain Betty & Blackberry Merlot from The Vineyard in Purgitsville. We have a delightful new cheese spread to share with you and if you like it, we will share the recipe as well.

Join us Friday, February 19th at 4:30 for a party to celebrate the release of Long Way To Go, the new CD from The Fox Hunt. The band will be playing cuts from the new album at the Romney shop for an hour or so Friday afternoon. We will have refreshments and WV wines for tasting.
