Thanks to the Hampshire Review and Greg Larry for spotlighting our jeweler, Tim Anderson in this video!
Anderson’s opened in 1982 in the town of Romney so that Bill Anderson could have a place in town for his computer and his coffee pot after retirement. His wife, Patty (formerly Patty Ott of Keyser), willingly obliged since she was home with their 2 sons, Michael & Timothy, and was ready for some community interaction as well. Bill was the town’s computer guru and was greatly missed when he passed away in 2002. Today both of Patty’s sons work with her in the family business. Timothy, who graduated from Gemological Institute of America, is now the shop’s jeweler. He is a meticulous craftsman and does the shop repairs and custom jewelry design. Michael is the art director and graphic designer for the shop and designed this web site, www.andersonscorner.com and now Michael’s wife, Tiffani, has joined the business and is working at the Moorefield shop.
Romney, WV is the original location for Anderson’s Corner. The Romney shop is located in a charming federal period building next to the stoplight at 8 W. Main Street, Romney. We have attempted to keep it as close to original in design as possible, but there are many upgrades coming this year.
